'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane celebrates his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in going back to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is currently midway through the four-year deal he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.

The veteran forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which was the maiden significant achievement of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously expressed that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about going back home as he once was, and would certainly think about extending his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy wait, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
